Jaime Spotleson Brousse joined the ACLU of Nevada in 2024 as a development associate, where she supports the team with funding and community work. She has lived in Nevada since childhood, initially residing in Lake Tahoe prior to her family’s settling in Henderson almost 30 years ago. Jaime is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, earning a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism that she previously applied to a two-decade career writing and producing print, digital, and television news and content, as well as public relations and advertising sales in Chicago, Nashville, and Las Vegas. Jaime is eager to share her enthusiasm for the ACLU’s critical mission with others and, in the process, help members maximize the resources to defend freedom and human rights. Her personal advocacy and volunteer efforts have focused on gun violence prevention, reproductive justice, local libraries, and public education. She spends her free time with her family and friends, exercising or reading a book.
