What is UNLV People Power?
People Power is ACLU's grassroots army. UNLV People Power is a nonpartisan student collective that works with the ACLU of Nevada to empower students to advocate for civil rights and liberties for themselves and others. We host events across the board, from student mixers and movie nights to Know Your Rights workshops and Lobbying Your Legislators trainings. All UNLV and CSN students are welcome to join UNLV People Power!
Become a Member
Membership is open to any UNLV or CSN student who has an interest in civil rights issues and preserving our civil rights. In order to become an official member of UNLV People Power, you must complete the following steps:
- Fill out the member interest form and join our Group Me.
- Join the Involvement Center.
- Donate $5 to the ACLU of Nevada, making you an official member!
